Born in 1974. He studied at the Russian National Research Medical University. Since 1995 has worked in economic journalism. Since 1999, Butrin has been a reporter, then an editor at the Kommersant publishing house, and at present is the Deputy Chief Editor of the publishing house. Author and content editor of the books “Who owns Russia?” (content editor, Moscow, 2003) and “Bond” (Moscow, 2016).
