2002 — Graduated from the Psychology Department of Penza State Pedagogical University. In 2003, he received an MA in Sociology from the University of Manchester. PhD in Sociological Sciences (2007).

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences; Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration; Head of the Department of Theoretical Sociology and Epistemology of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration; Head of the Centre for Sociological Studies of the RANEPA and the International Centre for Contemporary Sociological Theory MVSES.

Since 2011 – Editor in chief of the “Sociology of Power” journal.
