Lev Rubinstein

Poet, essayist

Russian poet and essayist. Born in 1947.

Since the mid-1970s, Rubenstein has been working in a unique poetic genre of “card indexes” (картотеки). He is one of the founders and leaders of the Moscow conceptualist art movement.

Since the mid-1990s Rubinstein has worked as a columnist for various publications (Itogi, Weekly Magazine, Grani.ru, InLiberty.ru).

He is winner of the Andrei Bely Prize (1999), the NOS Literary Prize (2013). The complete collection of Rubinstein's poetic texts was published in 2015 (Large file cabinet. Moscow: New Publishing House).
