Born in 1973. In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University.

In 1994 he became the presenter and then Program Director of Avtoradio.

From 2000 to 2014 he worked at Afisha as Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Director and Chief Editor of the united Rambler-Afisha company. The organizer of the music festival Afisha Picnic.

In 2011–2012 he took an active part in protests and acted as a member of the organizing committee of several rallies “For Fair Elections”.

In 2015–2016, he served as Editorial Director of The Moscow Times publishing house.
