Ivan Chechot — art historian, Art History PhD, head of the Art History Center and assistant professor at the Interdisciplinary research and practices department in Art of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Saint Petersburg State University (Smolny Institute), leading research fellow at the Russian Institute of Art History. Specializes in German art, History of Art Criticism, expert in Eastern Prussia culture (Kaliningrad oblast).
